16 Days of Activism Against Family Violence

WALKING ACTIVITY 16km in 16 days

25th November – 10th December

Put on your walking shoes and walk in solidarity with us against family violence.

Join us at Wellsprings for Women to walk 16km during the 16 Days. We know that 16km sounds like a great deal of walking, but when you break it up, it’s only one kilometre per day! One kilometre = roughly ten minutes! Walk 1km each day from Thursday 25th of November until Friday 10th of December.

To track our progress, we will be using Strava. Strava is an app that is available on your mobile phone, which can be downloaded through the app store. Strava allows you to track your walk whilst you are on it, and will record and share progress with members of the group.

Here are the steps for signing up:

  1. Download Strava from the app store and set up an account.
  2. Once you’re set up, search for the profile Aviva White, and click
  3. Once you have followed me, I will add you into our challenge ‘WFW: 16kms in 16 days’.
  4. From there, all you need to do is track your daily walks using the app.

We are offering prizes to those who complete the 16kms! If you complete the challenge, you will go in the draw to win some awesome prizes!
